This is me…

This is me. Working out 5-days a week throughout lockdown. Lifting weights 1.5x my body weight and eating 1400 calories a day (mostly).
One month into my 40s and 3 kids later.

I’m nothing special. I just have a good work ethic and goals I refuse to compromise on. I am also “coach-able” – which means I listen to the coach I pay good money for and do what he says even if I have days I don’t wanna.

I am accountable… to my coach, to myself and to my clients- who also deserve someone who walks the talk.

It’s not just about exercise or eating right. It’s about doing that even when you don’t want to. It’s about trusting the process and having a coach who understands my life and it’s chaos, but also pushes me to be the best I can be and won’t settle for childish excuses.

It’s about being adult enough to work hard for something even when you’re tired and sore, and then knowing when to rest.

I really am not special. I’m just determined to do all the things I love for as long as possible. To feel as strong and fit as I can so I can live my best life and be the mom my busy boys need for a long, long time.
